• Ran statistically designed experiments to optimize the mechanical compatibility of “biocompatible cell scaffolds” for cell-sheet implants with the intent of reducing scar tissue and increase healing of vocal folds in throat injuries.
• Ran experiments to ensure cell scaffolds with mechanical properties similar to human vocal fold tissue maintained their ability to promote cellular growth.
• Developed and maintained process procedures and lab documentation for future process control.
• Oversaw daily tests to monitor process equipment and ensure they were in control; reaction maps were followed when needed to address out of control situations. • Worked with lab equipment such as: rheometers, cell culture hoods, lyophilizers,
centrifuges, etc.
