EDUCATION:
• Sep 2009-2012 University of Massachusetts Boston (BS Physics)
Subject GPA: 3.88, Overall GPA: 3.42
• Feb 2009-May 2009 Bunker Hill Community College
• 2003-2006 Colorado State University (pursuing BS in Physics)
RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
Magnetics Laboratory at Colorado State University (Sep 2005-May 2006)
Assisted with experiments on ferromagnetic samples (FeTiN). Work was aimed at finding ferromagnetic resonances at microwave frequencies. Resonance points were explored at different frequencies for various grain sizes, which we controlled by changing the Nitrogen concentration.
University of Massachusetts Physics Dept. (Jun 2009-Present)
• Growing indium-oxide thin films with a magnetron sputtering system.
• Analyzing the electrical properties of these films. In particular looking for correlations in the spectrum of conductance fluctuations.
• One avenue of analysis being pursued is the application of wavelets to the time series of conductance fluctuations.
