EMC Test Engineer:
EMC testing and trouble shooting Emissions and Immunity issues. Preparing reports and managing project through completion. I have extensive knowledge of test procedures per FCC, VCCI, CE, CISPR 22 & 24, KN22, KN24, IEC/EN 61000-6-2 & 6-4, IEC 61326-1. Also, all Immunity standards per IEC/EN 61000-4-2, 4-3, 4-4,4-5, 4-6, 4-8, and 4-11. Worked with several clients off and on site to address compliance issues.
NTS Contract with HP Dec 2003-June 2004
EMC testing and trouble shooting HP laser and desk top printers. Worked at the HP in San Diego, Ca. Testing of HP printers for FCC, VCCI and CE Compliance. Radiated/Conducted Emissions. Testing at OATS and 3 meter chambers. Also performing ESD and Immunity to EN 61000 and Mil Std 461.
Walsingham Associates, Inc. Dec 2002-2003 Contract Engineer:
As a contract Engineer, my responsibilities were performing physical and spectrum sweeps to determine if any hidden surveillance equipment may exist. Including cameras, transmitters, and hidden microphones. We performed counter surveillance for individual and business environments.

Member of Technical Staff EMI/EMC Engineer
As part of the technical staff, I was responsible for the EMI/EMC issues on the E 1200 10GE 1.2 terabit switch router. Testing conducted emissions from 10khz-30 MHz. Radiated Emissions to 40 GHz. Also performing immunity testing per ETSI/ EN61000. Working with the mechanical and board design Engineers to insure compliance to FCC, EN55022, EN55024, CISPR24, CISPR 22, ETSI EN 300 386, VCCI, NEBS GR 63, GR 1089, and all other agency approvals. Worked with outside laboratories, applied for and received VCCI membership, and submitted VCCI formal conformity reports. I also compiled all information for formal CE, FCC, and VCCI reports.

Responsible for Engineering and Formal testing of the Catalyst 8000, 7000, 6000, ONS 15454 and ONS 15327 Add/Drop Multiplexers. OC3, 12, 48, and 192. Also DS1, DS3, and 10/100 Ethernet. Testing in 5 and 10M chambers to 40 GHz. Also performed low frequency E and H field measurements for NEBS GR-1089. Lightning surge EN 61000. Worked with design Engineers to insure compliance to FCC, EN55022, VCCI, and ETSI EN 300 386 and all other agency approvals. Attended design reviews and made recommendations based upon results. Received several achievement awards for compliance work done on several projects.
