Senior Project
Designed a system which monitors and records child abuse. Impact sensors were embedded into a vest that the child wore underneath his/her clothing. The impact sensors interfaced to analog circuits that conditioned the signals which then were polled by microcontroller A/D ports. The microcontroller transmitted the signal to a nearby logging station consisting of another microcontroller, LCD and radio receiver. Date and time stamping in addition to abuse impact level was logged for later retrieval.
