Facilities and Maintenance Engineer
Role of position requires multiple directions of leadership and implementing processes
My role was as the Director for entire maintenance department and plant facility. Delegated daily obligations, production responsibilities, projects, preventative maintenance tasks to staff accordingly and supported team with technical help on advanced systems. Implemented new maintenance system which staff abided by: The system implemented: tracking downtime, parts- inventory, daily work orders, daily preventative maintenance tasks and individual equipment cost analysis. Developed asset lists of unnecessary plant equipment and brokered to outside sources for capital gains for improvements in plant efficiently and equipment upgrades. Took brief role of Production Process Engineer to improve plant production and labor efficiencies, the programs I helped implement caused the companies daily completion of products and shipped parts to exceed daily and weekly set goals. .I was highly involved in the engineering and incorporation of new equipment for new product production for very established automobile manufacturers. I volunteered to provide leadership and guidance for educational training classes on equipment operation, repair and troubleshooting techniques. This class was required for new and existing operators and maintenance laborers. I became a Board member on the safety committee and maintaining OSHA compliances. Managed annual facility and maintenance budgets, proposed capital budget projects to management team and involved in new hires and termination of employees.
Exemplarity projects completed while holding position: Engineered new production layout and installed new incorporated from Mexico for new parts manufacturing for Ford Motor Company.

Maintenance Manager/ Sr. Electro-Mechanical Service Technician
Responsibilities included: Troubleshoot, repair, install electrical AC/DC (motors, VFD’s, relays, contactors, PLC’s, photo eyes, limit switches, circuit boards, etc.) and all mechanical components including repair and rebuild of gearboxes and drive trains, hydraulic and pneumatic instruments on various types of industrial equipment including: chemical, corrugated box, waste, concrete, food, heat exchange and metal processing applications.
