Work in the lab involved acquiring data on samples of aggregate, binder, and mixes sent from the field while also doing research with Superpave techniques, and conducting field testing in coordination with Caltrans on multiple occasions.
Contributions:
 Wrote internal procedures for innovative Superpave equipment allowing me to become familiar with our Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR), Gyratory Compactor, Asphalt Pavement Analyzer (APA) and other equipment.
 Became familiar with ASTM, AASHTO, and Caltrans testing procedures
