Process Improvement Cooperative Mobile, Alabama (May-August 2011)
• Devised paper blending technique for recycled paper to improve overall process health and downstream process stability ultimately detailing the types of paper required for blending to receive the greatest opportunity for quality pulp
• Collaborated with vendor for process specifications and upgrades to increase max capacity of recycled brown fiber process to take advantage of cost differential of recycled fiber and minimize overall cost of materials for brown towel products
• Created new process input user guide to insure correct input of materials for each grade to minimize operator error of loading machine with erroneous fiber
Process Operations Cooperative Neenah, Wisconsin (August –December 2010)
• Maintained daily operations of manufacture machine including troubleshooting problems as they arose to maximize machine up time and warrant time for trials on the machine
