SUMMARY AND DETAIL RESUME
(Principal Piping Designer)
SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE:
Mr. M has over 30 years EPC experience, primarily engineering design. He has worked major and small-scale projects and performed as a Group Lead, Field and Shop Fabrication Coordinator, Plant Design System (PDS) Coordinator, Senior Piping Designer, Lead QC Checker and Field Quality Assurance Appraiser. Most of Howard’s work has been on oil and gas and petrochemical projects, but he has also worked in the power, pulp and paper, marine and mining industries. His work has included conceptual design, front-end engineering design, detail engineering, fabrication, construction, pre-commission and shut down phases.
Mr. M knows piping, vessels, and rotating equipment and is familiar with appropriate codes and standards. He has done numerous PDS models, piping general arrangements, piping and instrumentation flow diagrams, line schedules, isometrics and bills of materials, piping flexibility analysis, engineered pipe supports and hanger designs. Other duties have included review of third party packages, including piping, mechanical and structural items.
In recent years, because of his broad and deep experience, he has frequently led and been involved in troubleshooting and solving facility operational problems and safety and maintenance issues. He has a willingness to promote a value led approach and to work accurately within time and budget constraints. Mr. M works effectively with team members and the client.
