Operate in a Lean Manufacturing environment to manage the introduction of new modular pre-fabricated bathroom designs from prototyping into production

- Responsible for the creation of the Optics R&D department in an effort to design all-optical DWDMs utilizing thin-film filter technology.
- Successfully completed hiring, training, facilities layout, equipment evaluation, prototype design, documentation, qualification testing, and management of engineering technicians. Project was completed within cost and time budgets.

Product Development Engineer (Photonics Division)
- Responsible for design and fabrication of prototype optical packaging including WDM, OAD, GFF, and Tunable Bandpass Devices.
- Completed a 3-month project in Los Angeles, where I headed up a team of engineering technicians to create a working prototype for the Allegheny Fiber Optic Network
- Proven as a Project Leader to transition developments from prototype to production.
