Experience:
Programmer, Complete Energy Services, Gainesville, TX
(May 2013-June 2015)
Complete Energy Services is a well service division of Superior Energy Services. The projects I worked on included automated rigs for the well servicing industry. I worked with three mechanical engineers to provide automated systems for the oil industry. This included working on many different types of well servicing equipment including mud pumps, VFD houses and drawworks control, operator control cabins, BOP stacks and closing units, HPU houses, hydraulically operated walking substructures, and generators. During my time at Complete Energy Services, I helped design, test, and layout the control and instrument sections of these products. I was the only one with programming experience within this company, and therefore, I was responsible for essentially anything electrical, automated, or computerized on any of the projects. This included specifying platform, hardware, layout, and implementation for the completion rigs. I gained experience in PLCs, safety systems, hydraulic control, and VFDs during my time at Complete. The PLCs I gained experience with included Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Allen Bradley. I also gained additional experience in CAN (J1939, CANopen, etc.) controllers including Parker and High Country Tek. The projects also required additional knowledge in motion control such as servo valves, position sensors, proportional control, encoders, and other motion control components.

Product Development Engineer II, Lynntech Inc., College Station, TX
(August 2009-August 2012)
Lynntech is primarily a SBIR/STTR funded company. The projects I worked on during my time at Lynntech were mainly for government or military application. I worked for a small team of engineers in the instrumentation group at Lynntech. I worked on numerous projects including: water testers, solar hydrogen generators, large fuel cell hybrid electric vehicles, PCR...
