• Prepared design change documentation to incorporate new software changes into the OAC computer system.

Contracted to Florida Power & Light at their Seabrook Station nuclear power plant to implement various projects associated with their Main Plant Computer System (MPCS).
Generator Stator Cooling temperature projects. Specific responsibilities:
• Created Modbus TCP interface programs (both C#-Winforms and VAX) to support the installation of new Generator Stator Cooling temperature monitoring hardware (Thermo Scientific SV180 scanners).
• Developed modifications to serial data link program to incorporate temperature averaging and compensation algorithms for Generator Stator Cooling temperatures.
• Prepared Software Quality Assurance documentation for all newly created software applications.
Cyber Security Data Diode implementation project. Specific responsibilities:
• Created new software applications on both VAX and PC (C# Windows Service) systems to integrate and test a Cyber Security Waterfall Unidirectional Security Gateway system.
• Developed engineering design package to facilitate the installation of the new Data Diode system into the plant.
• Prepared Software Quality Assurance documentation for all newly created software applications.
Data Acquisition System (DAS) replacement project. Specific responsibilities:
• Participated in reviews of design specifications and Factory Acceptance procedures.
• Created a Kepner-Tregoe analysis for the Seabrook DAS replacement project to process vendor proposals.
