• Conducted thorough literature review to determine optimal methods for increasing transition plasma laser sparks as a means of heating a gas volume to 1 thousand degrees (1000°K).
• Utilized Resonant Enhanced Multi-Photon Ionization (REMPI) transition and Nd:YAG laser technology to implement experiment.
• Assisted development of practical laser ignition system using a multiplexer to transform a single laser source into multiple fiber optics (engine cylinders).
