B.S. and M. Eng, Aerospace Engineering, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, FL 32114, ABET Accredited
Projects completed during school included:
Detail Design of Hybrid Rocket
• Led a 5-person team to develop a hybrid-fuel rocket based on customer requirements.
• Created MATLAB code to determine nozzle performance based on fuel system design.
• Created CATIA models for design simulations.
• Project earned an “A”.
Spacecraft Payload Bay Radiation Heat Transfer
• Led a 5-person team to design a computational tool to compute radiation shape factors and heat transfer rates.
• Created MATLAB code for three-dimensional color contour plots and to test code validity against known shape factor graphs.
• Project earned an “A”.
Validity of a Single Thruster Concept for Spacecraft Attitude Control
• Evaluated nonlinear controller design from an AIAA paper.
• Created MATLAB code to develop linear control algorithms using 2 techniques. Then used Simulink to design the controllers for stability simulation and analysis.
