•Investigated the use of accelerometers to determine in situ tensions in iron roof truss members.
•Wrote an in depth program in MATLAB to interpret data, designed several experiments, analyzed the structure and summarized the findings in a comprehensive report.
•Presented work to the UVM Graduate Civil Engineering Seminar, The Vermont chapter of ASCE and at the 100th Annual Mechanics Conference at Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
