Designed and analyzed the interactions between male and female threads of a 1-inch NPT pipe, using contact elements in Ansys workbench and solid works. Compiled the bending behavior of the various models of pipe to compose rotational spring constants for the thread interface, to be used as the spring element and analyze any sort of pipe as Euler beam (rather than as threaded pipe) with a known spring element.

July 2010 – October 2011: Assistant Civil Engineer Mumbai, India
Gammon India Limited, INDIA.
Responsibilities and Accomplishments:
• Carried out the design and detailing of the concrete segments using short bed method.
• Evaluated the design of Substructure components for mounting the NRS girder, and modified the design accordingly.
• Conceptualize a sliding process for the perfect alignment of bridge spans to correct the errors in surveying.
• Administered the construction of bridge using under-slung and NRS launching girder methods for the erection and auto launch of concrete segments.
• Monitored the Post tensioning process of the 50 meter simply supported span over the columns.
• Handled the construction of end bearing and friction piles, piers and pier covers.
• Budgeted and billed day to day activities as site manager.

May 2009 - July 2009: Undergraduate Internship Vizag, India
NTPC (National Thermal Power Plant)

Planned and prepared the design of the Diagonal columns for the concrete water basin of a hyperbolic Natural drafting Cooling Tower (NDCT), for a thermal power plant. Administered the construction of the end bearing piles and diagonal columns, and also prepared the reinforcement details for the inclined diagonal columns.
