Logistics Development Engineer
Responsible for the packaging and logistics of material for the production of 4+ engine types and 2 transmission types. Ensures the uninterrupted delivery of finished and semi-finished units being shipped to multiple, national and international manufacturing and service locations. Ensures the efficient handling of assets and maintaining of quality within the supply chain.
• Led Operational Development Team in identifying and implementing process improvement and cost saving solutions. Analyzed and developed solutions that alleviated and/or reduced non value added activities using process improvement methodologies.
• Introduced a global packaging system to the Hagerstown Plant. Implemented on-time and reduced overall costs and ensured solutions (Quality, Handling, etc.) were maintained.
