12/31/2012 18 years with Performance Concepts / Lifeclinic / Sentry Health Monitors / Merge Healthcare. Most current position: Integration Specialist. Telephone support was of connectivity of the LC500 product and the LC600 product via the internet to the servers. This included LAN connections, Wi-Fi, and cell modem installations based on the customer’s needs. I would answer specific questions to the customers IT group about data security and the variables needed for connectivity. The Personal Health Records would be updated in real time and the statistical reports would be transmitted at night. There would be a “watch list” to monitor connectivity. Telephone support also included training for the human resource personnel interested in the usage statistics. Training also included support for the glucose meter and pedometer uploads. Also I took on the welcome screen customization and disclaimer screen design. Login barcodes needed to be generated for certain contracts. When the original single board computer in the LC500 went end of life, I was part of the team that found a replacement and integrated it with very little production downtime. Electronic technician duties included surface mount circuit board soldering and debugging and prototyping. I was technical support for the trade shows, solving connectivity issues so the products could be demonstrated. I was part of the team that developed the LC600 product and was technical support.
Earlier, the 90557 project (the forerunner of the LC600) was a healthstation originally developed by Spacelabs. I was technical support for this product. This unit originally had a Windows 2000 operating system that evolved to Windows XP embedded. This system also uploaded biometrics by way of analog modem and LAN.
Performance Concepts products included an information/training kiosk that I also was technical support for. This product was for General Nutrition Centers (GNC). I provided telephone support to the store personnel. This product was totally modem connected to the database that would report training progress.
