• Performed system studies for DFIG- Grid Interconnection using ETAP. Tasks comprised of running power flows, short circuit studies, and system’s protection coordination. Ensured reactive power compensation met the technical requirements at steady state. Performed P-Q curve analysis at the point of common coupling with the grid.
IEEE Bus Model using PowerWorld (Fall 2011,Spring 2012)
• Power flow base case modeling and contingency analysis of a 230kV network in the North-West United States using PowerWorld. Tasks comprised of running power flows and checking the system for thermal and voltage violations for N-0 system condition and for N-1, N-2 and multiple contingencies.
