* Hands-on experience performing mechanical testing and materials property testing, such as tensile testing, bend testing, metallography, etching and optical microscopy.
* Undergraduate experience with experimental and research procedures and writing reports that presented technical data and analyzed findings.
* Professional experience operating and maintaining an optical emission spectrometer (see TAMCO below).
* Undergraduate experience with lab procedures associated with general chemistry.
* Exposure to scanning electron microscopy.
