-Primary Officer of the Deck for a successful Western Pacific deployment, leading a watch tesam of 34 personnel.
-Manages a department of 60+ personnel, ensuring all maintenance, training, and evolutions are conducted on time in order to meet operational tasking.
-As USS Columbia’s Maintenance Coordinator, successfully de-conflicts maintenance items and personnel utilization during numerous voyage repair periods, two Continuous Maintenance Availabilities, and a six month Docking Selected Restricted Availability.
Engineering Officer Recruiter, Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Diego, San Diego, CA
-Responsible for accession of qualified engineers into the Nuclear Propulsion Program and Civil Engineering Corps.
-Established relationships with external agencies and organizations within the San Diego area not previously accessed, enabling NRD San Diego to meet all officer recruiting goals for FY 2008, 2009, and 2010.
-Successfully completed all goals and recognized as NRD San Diego’s Active Officer Recruiter of the Quarter for the second quarter of FY 2009, Engineering Officer Recruiter of the Year for FY 2009 and the number three Engineering Officer Recruiter in the nation for FY 2009.
Quality Assurance Officer, USS Jefferson City, Point Loma, CA
-Responsible for quality control, training, and oversight of 150 crewmembers and over $2 billion in equipment, ensuring critical repairs and maintenance were completed with first time quality.
-Executed a thorough and effective Quality Assurance Training Program and Quality Assurance Audit and Surveillance Program, vastly increasing the quality level of all maintenance.
-Approved, supervised, and audited all quality controlled work including nuclear and “submarine safe” maintenance and repairs.
-Coordinated with various shipyards and supervised the completion of over 150 high risk repairs and maintenance items without any delay to ship’s tasking.
-Instrumental in changing Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual requirements for repairs to the reactor air system.
