Work Experience:
Senior Systems Engineer - 5/2011 - Present, Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems, Aurora, CO
Calibrations Operations (CALOPS) Team, responsible for system performance assessment, end-to-end calibrations and 24x7 monitoring of multiple operational processing systems deployed in multiple locations.
Developed several tools for evaluation of legacy systems, worked with multiple agencies to increase the number of systems under evaluation by CALOPS by a factor of 3.
Consolidated reporting tools for multiple systems into a single GUI and modified several legacy processes to streamline and eliminate manual efforts.
Acted as webmaster for CALOPS team and led tool development for real-time monitoring and analysis of data threads
Supported parametric system testing and developed processes to streamline and expedite the reporting of test results to customer.
Active Top Secret Clearance with SSBI (June 2011)
Senior Systems Engineer – 8/2005-4/2011, Raytheon Missile Systems, Guidance Navigation and Control, Tucson AZ
Lead engineer for tactical missile simulation, responsible for code updates, performance studies, customer interface and customer education.
Simulation manager for 6DOF portion of R&D simulation developed with team of engineers to evaluate potential radar algorithms to be used in missiles. Created tracking filter for real-time TSPI data and performed on-site real-time data analysis for successful flight tests, evaluating the effectiveness of technology developed for the program. Implemented Design of Experiments (DOE) methodology to create test set for evaluating algorithm and system level performance.
Executed multiple performance trade studies using tactical 6DOF simulations, designed many data analysis tools and visualization techniques for presentation to management and customers.
Taught simulation sections of weapon-specific warfighter schools to domestic and international military customers including travel to multiple foreign military bases.
