CAREER HIGHLIGHTS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Led a team of test engineers and technicians at Delphi’s Solid Oxide Fuel Cell Development Center. Was responsible for test development, prioritization, and resource forecasting. Key point of contact between SOFC’s Design, Validation and Test Engineers.
• Implemented an embedded software verification system using an Opal-RT Test-Drive simulator along with custom software tools and Python scripts.
• Designed and implemented several engineering test stands for Delphi’s Sub-Systems testing group. Engineered and assembled complex electrical control and data acquisition cabinets. Built specialized flow and gas blending equipment to meet a variety of testing needs. Used LabVIEW, VB script, and PLCs to develop user interfaces, automation control and data acquisition.
• Sourced and implemented commercial grade M2M wireless hardware to allow remote access of field deployed prototype systems.
• Active team member that developed and distributed a special implementation of Kodak’s laboratory information management system (LIMS). Participated in the full life cycle of the project including; requirements documentation, design, implementation and testing. Programmed applications, using Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Basic for Applications, and SQL Server to migrate legacy data to a relational database. Enabled a research division to utilize the LIMS capabilities to control their unique type of data.
• Developed a Visual Basic graphical user interface allowing engineers to digitally build and request the fabrication of micro-electronic devices, replacing a labor-intensive manual hardcopy system.
• Designed, built, and installed 16 pollutant gas exposure chambers to study the effects of the environment on photographic materials. The intelligence acquired with the chambers was used by a multi-corporation committee to set the global standard for inkjet print analysis and life time predictions.
