o Work with sales, operations/manufacturing and Technology legs of the stool to understand and develop strategic improvement roadmaps for thin films manufacturing and technology.
o Key Results: Strategic roadmap / Quarterly “Must Do” process in place that has delivered coating chamber standardization & maintenance procedures. Roles and responsibilities clarified within thin films engineering / maintenance and between sales for quote processes. Implemented “Individual Management thru Business Objectives” (iMBO) process for direct reports to develop career goals and meet company objectives.

• Staff Process Engineer (9/10 thru 4/12)

• Product & Process Development - Business Startup: Semiconductor & Pharma Filtration Devices
o Process Eng. & Project Management for New Product Development  Develop IQ, OQ, POQ and PQ (validation) process (RF Welding & thermal Bonding) / product requirements for new equipment and products in accordance with cGMP and FDA regulations. Used Lean philosophy to standardize procedures and methodologies for product development, device manufacturing & process monitoring. Project Management: Used Phase/stage Gate process to develop product concepts and determine product “qualifiers” vs. “added value” attributes. Manage cross functional team through product development using “phase gate process” including prototyping (Technical feasibility), alternatives exploration and through product / process development & commercialization.
 Key Results:
• Developed HDPE prototype high purity chemical filter and received customer Fitness For Use (FFU) feedback to feed into next development cycle.
• Established baseline and commercialized filter manufacturing line. Developed equipment and process qualification methodology to move and qualify the entire line in a new state of the art manufacturing cleanroom.
• Commercialized 4 products that ramped revenue from $0 to ~ $1.2 million over 2 years
o Manufacturing / Operations Infrastructure: Developed cleanroom protocol for particulate / contamination controls for manufacturing semiconductor / pharmaceutical grade filtration devices. Delivered cleanroom training to all plant associates (operators, engineers, product specialists & maintenance personnel).
