Upgrades included addition of SCR Systems, NOx controls, modifications to existing regenerative air heaters, low NOx burner retrofits, existing FGD retrofits and installation of Acid Mist SO3 reduction systems. Conducted administration of multiple contracts focused in civil, structural and mechanical disciplines. Employment duration extended for advanced data analysis including job cost tracking, budget variance reporting, provided evaluations/recommendations for additional work requests and project close out.

Managed $50 million unit priced foundation grouting project. Scope issued under government task orders included 240,000 SF temporary and permanent concrete platforms, 100,000 SF sheet pile, 20 piezometer installations, 200,000 LF sonic overburden drilling, 250,000 LF rock drilling, 37,000 CY low mobility pressure, computer monitored grouting, and 20,000 LF over water drilling and grouting. Poor structure conditions gained national attention and identified as a critical USACE project.

Managed two projects simultaneously. The Y-17 project consisted of $1.6 million new 7,000 CY RCC concrete armor to an existing earth dam. Additional scope items included clearing and grubbing, 10,000 CY of earth cut/fill, installation of E&S controls, erection of batch plant & delivery system, and rehabilitation of the park around the dam. The second project entailed $2.5 million, 13,000 CY conveyor delivered RCC concrete dam. Scope items included gate installations and instrumentation, earth work operations, development of mix designs and site improvements/restorations.

Work completed with crane and barges mobilized upstream of the dam.

Managed surveying, third party engineering design, constructability analysis, changes in scope, project controls, subcontract work, developed weld procedures, drafted lift drawings and provided field support for construction operations.
