Laser Support Engineer
Technical support for an international engineering firm that distributes and supports high-quality electronic control equipment including 3D laser scanners and 3D point cloud modeling software
Routinely perform checks, calibrations and troubleshooting for incoming 3D laser scanners
Prepare accurate sales quotes and coordinate sales of LaserControl and LFM software to customers
Become familiar with company software products LaserControl and LFM as well as non-company products such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Record scanner work reports and input hardware and software information into the company database ensuring complete accuracy
Basic soldering of wires to PCBs for batteries and Scanner hardware learned
Travel to conventions pertaining to the 3D mapping market
Travel to customers upon request to provide training
