Responsible for selling services and retaining revenue by providing technical customer support to assigned DOD accounts such as DITCO/DISA and The United States Armed Forces. Interacting with customers to execute technical aspects of sales strategy by developing appropriate solutions and building technical relationships. Glotel Inc. Contractor. - Ashburn, VA – Post Sales Sr. Network Engineer (3/04 – 4/10)

Configured, designed and tested, circuits ranging from a sub-rate of 56K to 40G Waves. Configured SONET, Ethernet over SONET on the Lucent Platform, Lucent Lambda Xtreme, Fujitsu Flashwave 4500, Flash 192, Flashwave 7500, 7600 and 9500, Tellabs 5500, 6500 and NGX DCCS. I worked with customers on non-complex turn ups and called upon to work complex turn-ups while at the same time providing a level of education in regards to the service and method in which the service(s) are turned up. I performed on the spot training on network technology and various aspects of troubleshooting including paying attention to detail and being able to utilize brainstorming techniques and process of elimination.


Sprint - Reston, VA - Sr. Network Operations Specialist (7/03 - 3/04)

Provided customer service and technical operations support for Sprint's Wide Area Network driven by the Nortel Passport Switch. Testing and troubleshooting IMUX services, ATM and Frame Relay Networks within a 24x7 Network Operations Center environment. Also provided 3rd Level Support to Sprints Managed Router Services Group.
