• Author of seismic test procedures and test reports. Determine the best route for seismic qualification, whether to analyze the structure using FEMAP and GTSTRUDL or test it using a bi-axial seismic table.
• Wrote and review Nuclear Safety Related Commercial Grade Dedication procedures.
• Create and review seismic and environmental packages per IEEE 344 and IEEE 323 standards.
• Review request for quotes (RFQ) and new purchase orders for technical requirements.
• Establish technical and quality requirements for procurement of safety related and quality related spare parts and components. Perform commercial grade dedication, safety classifications, and provide engineering resolutions and evaluations for materials issues. Disposition of non-conformities, complete equivalency evaluations, deviation notices per UCI’s applicable quality procedures.
