Requirements Engineer/DOORS
• Defined as a DOORS Subject Matter Expert, asked to brief the entire EN community at Hanscom, Dahlgren and Colorado Springs on best practices of Requirements Management, DOORS, and Configuration Management using the DOORS tool, along with Publishing Engine/Change.
• Work with geographically dispersed team members to receive and produce Microsoft Excel and Word documents for conversion to DOORS 9.1 requirements modules.
• Closely coordinate with Branch Chief, Systems Engineering and Logistics team members for traceability reporting, tracking metrics and prospective problem reporting of risk areas to management along with creating customized reports to support management needs
• Maintain user access rights, privileges, link modules and administrator changes
• Import and export data in common file formats and pass in standard formats
• Traceability to include baselines, one-to-many relationships of user requirements. Bi-directional requirements traceability and support recurring validation of database items
• Work with engineers and other team members to develop master attribute list and use them to make recommendations
• Setup and maintain the DOORS Change Proposal Systems and general configuration management
• Stood up a DOORS server located in Dahlgren, Va.
• Participate in demonstrations and briefings on requirements using DOORS application and perform training for all users
• Responsible for accuracy of modules and ensure the links between modules are precise.
