Skills & Abilities
RADAR SYSTEMS
• Experience with corporate feed, limited field of view, and overlapped subarrays radar architectures.
• Experience with monopulse and digital subarray/element level beamforming and signal processing.
• Experience in developing FPGA based digital receiver/exciter architectures.
SIGNAL PROCESSING
• Developed fixed point DSP requirements and Matlab simulation for arbitrary waveform generation, downconversion, downsampling, and RF/IF equalization for distributed receiver/exciter architectures.
• Developed time delay anti alias filters, RF/IF equalization filters, and decimation filters for variable output sample rates.
• Performed trade analysis on digital filter design for variable output sample rates to support required cancellation ratios.
• Experience in processing real and complex data, calculating clutter attenuation, dynamic range, antenna patterns, performing single pass, two pass, and stretch signal processing for detection and calibration.
RADAR CALIBRATION DESIGN
• Developed system, array, and receiver/exciter NB/MB/WB calibration process which included ADC/DAC alignment, WB Time Delay digital filters, Amplitude/Phase alignment, IF/RF equalization algorithms and digital filters, and channel noise alignment for distributed digital receiver/exciter radar architectures.
