Responsible for design, development and verification of Airplane Health Management product requirements for the 737NG airplane family; enabling the digital airplane. Roles include Systems Engineering and Customer Product Support to major airlines such as American, Qantas and Air China.

* Provided for algorithm and requirements development supporting real time on event fault detection and reporting, as well as maintenance data reporting, in support of predictive trend failure analysis alerting and airplane performance monitoring.

SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEERING CONSULTANT TO BOEING 787 AIRPLANE DEVELOPMENT (2005-2009)

SENIOR ENGINEER, SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT
Responsible for Next Generation Weather Radar product family requirements development and management including authoring process development, compilation of customer and industry standard requirements, and system verification & validation. Roles include technical focal for assigned system functions, change control board member and DOORS database administration.

* Developed operational state definitions, state transition logic and alert management requirements for the Next Generation Radar System supporting multiple modes of operation including Standby, Test, Automatic Weather Volumetric Buffer modes and Predictive Windshear with state interleaving.
* Compiled worst case super set of environmental condition requirements for the multiple LRUs of the Next Generation Weather Radar System from anticipated Federated system customer requirements given by Boeing GTR, Airbus ABD0100 and DO-160, as well as, specific military and commercial customer requirements from Boeing C-17 and Airbus A380.

Responsible for all phases of Proximity Sensing Systems development from initial technical proposals to final system verification and certification. Roles included primary customer technical focal, project team technical focal and program manager.

* On-site Systems Engineer to the Joint Development Phase of architecture, interfacing and requirements definition on the Embraer 170 Aircraft program resulting in multimillion-dollar program award.
* Acted as initial Program Manager for the Embraer 170 Aircraft project and provided non-recurring engineering cost estimates justifying the business case through use of maximum hardware and software re-use.
* Successfully managed all phases of customer requirements definition and flowdown, including identifying out of scope changes and negotiating non-recurring cost impact reimbursements.
* Managed and completed on-site integration of Embraer 170 Aircraft Proximity Sensing Systems within both the Systems Integration Lab and the aircraft's Iron Bird Hydraulic Test Rig, meeting program schedule.
* Developed product qualification test procedure to DO-160 environmental conditions requirements for Embraer 170 Aircraft program, including ASCB data monitoring software.
