Most recent completed assignment: Area Construction Project Manager, (APCM) Savannah River Remediation, Inc., working in service of the Department of Energy, liquid waste disposition and vitrification. Current engagement is a 4000 l/m beverage line installation. I am actively seeking the next assignment (Nationwide) or longer term work near Pittsburgh PA, available March April 2014.

Work History and Experience:
2003-2014 On demand Construction Manager Multiple assignments.
Manage the Construction/Maintenance Organization work for the Defense Waste Processing Facility (DWPF). Oversee the construction of all Davis-Bacon work at the plant, which mixes and vitrifies all levels of radioactive waste. Coordinate the work of design, engineering, and construction discipline engineers with craft resources and plant operational requirements to provide on time and on budget construction products and services; ongoing maintenance, productivity improvements, technology improvements, and new safety initiatives are part of the installed product. SRR is a Joint Venture which includes Bechtel National, URS Washington Group, CH2M Hill, and Babcock and Wilcox.
Several assignments in support of Toray Engineering, major completed projects include the engineering, procurement and custom fabrication of five carbon fiber drive stations as part of a $120 million expansion project in response to increased demand from Boeing and other customers. 2004 served as independent contractor for an expansion of a hot-melt sealant plant for a division of Yokohama Rubber. Managed the turnaround of a distressed biodiesel construction project December 2005 to January 2006. July 2006 - September 2009 Construction Manager, FAA contract with the ASR-11 radar program BAE Systems, Inc. prime contractor. More recent assignments have included Electrical Construction Surveillance for Siemens and Pre-outage work for a Fossil Fuel Steam Chest replacement project which has been postponed.
1996-2003:
Construction Manager, Toray Engineering America, Inc. Significant accomplishments include on time delivery of a brake shoe factory at Atlanta,GA. including utilities, custom fabrication of process equipment, controls and waste water treatment. Scope: $20 million, 10 months. Installation of picture tube manufacturing plant at New Stanton, PA including batch mixing, automated conveying equipment, and industrial robotics. Scope: $47 million, one year. Design and custom fabrication of process specific machinery for Sony and American Video. Other notable projects were the installation of shrink film production lines at Greensboro NC and Bardstown KY.
