Earlier the customer name (middle name, first name), were of lesser length, because of which any reports etc. generated to a customer having a lengthy name would have his name truncated, which would surely affect our customer.
So this project was intended to increase the name length field of the customer.

Barclaycard wished to bring a new product to market for launch during November 2009 which will provide the customer with a CoCo (Competition Commission) compliant Lifestyle Insurance product, which replaces the Payment Protection Insurance previously offered.
This will be an online only product with sales information available via the public site with all fulfillment processes available to the customer through mybarclaycard Account Servicing (AS2) only.
It will be the first insurance product to be fully handled within mybarclaycard, and will be offered to existing customers (primary cardholders) only.
