• Updated P&ID’s, Piping ISO’s for the replacement of heat exchanger for the Hydrocracker Stage 2 Depropanizer.
• Sized and Spec’d PSV’s and updated GER blue folders
• Worked with Foster Wheeler on installing a temporary fire water line at the COGEN Plant.
• Performed Hydraulic calcs to identify the pressure drop across temp fire water feed.
• Spec’d temp fire water pump.
Plains All American Pipeline- Richmond, Ca
• Performed MOTEMS (Marine Oil Terminal Engineering and Maintenance Standards) Audit.
Molycorp Minerals, Mountain Pass, Ca- Project Phoenix
• Served as a Field Engineer for an extraordinary fast track 700 million dollar modernization and expansion of a rare earths mine and processing facility. Responsibility included but not limited to on-site engineering support for construction and start-up.
• Designed and drafted P&ID’s, PFD’s, BFD’s, and As Builds.
• Generated Mechanical Equipment Lists, Line Lists, Valve Lists, and Equipment Data Sheets.
• Spec’d and procured material for construction; valves, pumps, pipe, fittings, specialty items, tanks, motors, safety equipment, PSV’s, and vents.
• Reviewed contracts, vendor submittals, and spec deviations.
• Responded to DCN’s (design change notices), RFI’s (requests for more info), FCN’s (field change notices).

• Served as a Process and Field Engineer through all phases in the expansion of a Wine production facility, increasing red wine production from 40,000 tons in 2010 to 65,000 tons in 2012.
• Drafted and generated P&IDs, Equipment List, Line List, and Tie-In List.
• Cross check engineering docs: piping drawings and P&ID’s.
• Assembled Construction Work packages.
• Gained 4 months of field experience and successfully helped Gallo Engineers prepare for startup under a pressing timeline to meet crush.
