PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Real Time Computing Companies Phoenix, AZ (4/2015 – 7/2015)
Real Time Consulting
Senior Software Engineer
* Provided systems and software engineering support to the Verification/Validation of the Honeywell Engine G280 PR DB and Bench Test Control System (specified in IBM ClearCase models). The validation and documentation (Test Plans & Procedures – TPP) was done against RTCA/DO-178B Airborne System Certification specifications.
* Provided systems and software engineering support in C++ for the Honeywell.CBM COE E2 OMS Engineering software system.
Honeywell Phoenix, AZ (5/2010 – 2/2011, 10/2011 – 9/2013)
Manpower Professional
FMS Systems/Software Engineer
* Provide systems and software engineering support to the Verification/Validation of the Spoiler Rigging Control System (specified in MATLAB models) for the Boeing 787 aircraft. This included software development in SSI scripting language for the automation of the ground maintenance test interfaces into the DFTS (Digital Flight Test System), FCM (Flight Control Module), FCTM (Flight Configuration Test Manager), and the HMPTT (Health Management Protocol Test Tool). The validation and documentation (Test Plans & Procedures – TPP) was done against RTCA/DO-178B Airborne System Certification specifications. Tools used in the process were CM21 (Configuration Management), MATLAB, and myLab.
* I averaged 60 hours/week from May, 2010 through February, 2011.
* Developed MATLAB software to translate signals inputted from an Excel spreadsheet to generate CSV files containing B787 model full path names. The CSV files are then inputted by SSI scripts for test and validation of B787 ground maintenance software on the benches.
Honeywell Tucson, AZ (11/2009 – 5/2010)
Manpower Professional
Lead Software Engineer
* Provide systems and software engineering support to migrate the Engine Control System embedded application software for the AS9072-1G Turbofan Engine for the Gulfstream G250 Aircraft to the Freescale MPC5554EVB AXM-0385 Rev B processor that is part of a multi-processor environment which includes two Motorola MC68332 processors. Software development was done in C++ and assembly language for prototyping, diagnosing, and testing the new hardware interfaces. This included using Freescale, Lauterbach and DDC-I code tracing and testing tools.
* Subsequent work on the same project was code design/development in C++ and assembly language against RTCA/DO-178B Level A Airborne System Certification specifications utilizing DOORS, IBM Rational Rose, and IBM ClearCase.
