Manage, coordinate and monitor all construction activities for the City of Rochester City School District, Franklin School Project, which is an addition and alteration to the 450,000 sq. ft. building. With a budget of $4 million, majority of the work included reconstruction of an existing 87,000 sq. ft parking lot, in addition to interior alterations and full renovation of the existing kitchen. Also included in this addition is a loading dock and receiving area. My roles and responsibilities include preparing and maintaining all logs, charts, drawings and reports required to document progress, which includes submittals, RFIs, change orders and payment applications. Also conduct all project meetings and maintain quality.
Project Manager October 2012 – June 2013 Jai II, Inc. Syracuse, NY
Managed, coordinated and monitored construction activities for the Southside Coalition and Syracuse University Food Co-op Project, which was a 3,300 sq. ft. site with a budget of $1 million. My roles and responsibilities included preparing and maintaining all logs, charts, drawings and reports required to document progress, that which includes submittals, RFIs, change orders and payment applications. Project Engineer September 2011-October 2012 Jai II, Inc. /Omega QSE/Gilbane Building Company, Syracuse, NY
Recruited to assist multiple Project Managers in the management, coordination and monitoring of construction activities for two of the City of Syracuse Joint School Construction Board’s Renovation to the local school’s. Fowler HS was a 239,000 sq. ft. (46,000 sq. is new addition) project with a budget of $ 47 million; ITC HS was a 115,000 sq. ft. (27,000 sq. is new addition) project with a budget of $ 24 million. Responsibilities included preparing and maintaining all logs, charts, drawings and reports required to document progress including submittals, RFIs and specifications. Also trained interns on the basics of construction management, including updating drawings and recording meeting minutes.
Project Engineer April 2009-September 2011 Omega QSE/Gilbane Building Company, Binghamton, NY
Performed as the Construction Manager for a LEED Gold Behavioral Neuroscience (BNS) Research Laboratory for the State of New York University Construction Fund (Binghamton University). The project was a 70,000 sq. ft. demo/addition with a budget of $23 million. My role consisted of assisting in the administration, coordination and monitoring of construction activities, more specifically preparing and maintaining all logs, charts, drawings and reports required to document progress including submittals, RFIs and specifications. Participated in Project Closeout and performed final room inspections for Architect/Owner.
