PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

WATER SUPPLY AND TREATMENT

• HITE MARINA 1-MGD SURFACE WATER TREATMENT PLANT – Managed the plant design which included pre-filters, micro-filtration units and granular activated carbon filters. The fully automated system included a sodium hypochlorite dosing system and was successfully completed on a fast track schedule.

• SOUTHERN NEVADA WATER AUTHORITY WATER RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT PRELIMINARY FACILITIES – Designed wells, pipelines, pumping stations, reservoirs, power lines, and related supporting facilities for the transmission of groundwater resources from various hydrographic basins.

• MISSION VALLEY EAST LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT PROJECT – Designed 6-miles of light rail extension for the Metropolitan Transit Development Board in the City of San Diego. Tasks included realignment of the waterlines ranging in size from 10-inches to 54-inches in diameter crossing the 6-miles of light rail transit.

• CITY OF SCOTTSDALE 10-MGD PUMP STATION NO. 126 – Managed the design including five 250-hp variable speed vertical turbine can pumps for the City of Scottsdale. The design of approximately 1.5 miles of 36-inch diameter force main was also included in this project.

• 1-MGD MICROFILTRATION SYSTEM – Designed installation for a 700-gpm 90M10C Memcor Microfiltration unit with auxiliary support systems, two pump stations, automated clean-in-place (CIP) system, microprocessor, and computer work station. System design included Central Arizona Project (CAP) feed water source, backwash pump station, discharge to CAP water treatment plant reservoir with integrated bypass sewer, CIP containment vault with drain to sewer, and filtrate pump station discharge to groundwater recharge wells.

WASTEWATER COLLECTION AND TREATMENT

• 1-MGD WAHWEAP WASTEWATER FACILITIES UPGRADE – Managed project for the National Park Service which included an emergency overflow structure, a gravity sewer, trash manhole, control structure, emergence overflow basin, 6-mile force main, force main bridge crossing, Wahweap lift station, Page lift station, leak detection system, force main to gravity sewer transition structure, odor control facilities, electrical system and instrumentation, telemetry system, and retirement of t...
