Pennsylvania Breaker was a start-up company in 2004 for the manufacture of high voltage circuit breakers. I was hired as a Product Quality Engineer on an entrepreneurial team of industry experts to bring a new and innovative breaker design to market.
• Managed the quality inspection department. Set up new quality inspection program, determined monitoring and measuring criteria and equipment.
• Supervised and trained new employees in the use of quality tools and company procedures.
• Developed supplier quality strategy for new suppliers.
• Identified inspection criteria for high-voltage dead tank circuit breakers. All incoming components and subassembly for SF6 puffer interrupter, 2-cycle hydraulic mechanism and related industry specifications.
