• Responsible for designing, implementing, controlling and improving the manufacturing process and system design for multiple subassemblies (10 for NWS, 9 for AWS, 7 for LC).
• Active evaluation and monitoring of manufacturing processes allowing proactive identification and engagement of issues that could impact production demands.
• Heighten manufacturability by coordinating and implementing engineering changes into Assembly Work Instructions.
• Developed and designed Assembly Work Instructions and Tooling for Emerging Programs. Instrumental in prove-in efforts of each.
• Implemented new production processes for Emerging Programs. Trained multiple functions on implemented production processes ensuring flight quality status for responsible labs and essential hardware.
• Implemented use of 2D Barcodes to record torque tool information, standardize defect write-ups, close inspection characteristics/operations, license plates, etc.
• Conducted research and plan implementation for acceleration of production schedule, earning the program an additional $1.2M.
• Perform Technical Data Package (TDP) to Assembly Work Instruction (AWI) Audits for all subassemblies. Discovered and corrected multiple errors in both the TDPs and AWIs. Implemented corrective actions across multiple functions to ensure quality hardware.
