Accomplishments:
- System integration test engineer for several system demonstration tests on the AEHF military communication satellite program. My responsibilities included the following: ensure test configuration compliance, develop test procedures, execute demonstrations of system level requirements, and document test results. To develop the test procedures I developed an understanding of the program's communication architecture Interface Control Documents (ICDs). To support the test execution I conducted tests and operated the satellite's command post terminal.
- Took the initiative and improved our test discrepancy reporting system.
Project Planner, September 2002 to June 2006
NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, California
Accomplishments:
- Experiment coordinator for several biology experiments on large diameter centrifuges. My responsibilities included the following: provide leadership for the experiment implementation team, communicate with the science team and the facility engineers and technicians to develop the experiment's support requirements and schedules, and document the experiment's planning, execution and close out phases.
- Implemented a customized Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). I designed the relational database and prepared a guideline document for the programmer.
- Designed hardware, developed test procedures, and coordinated the test to calibrate a strain gauge for a large diameter centrifuge.
- Led the effort to reduce the risk of an acoustic anomaly prior to an experiment on a large diameter centrifuge.
