Role: Project Engineering
•Sodium Chlorate Plant Extension, Chemtrade Logistics, Prince George, BC – Design team member involved in development of documentation for DCS extension. Tracked and controlled budget. Managed scope changes and requests for information to the client and vendor teams. Gained experience in estimating efforts required in projects. Coordinated the efforts of the Vancouver office with those of the main office in Prince George where the project was physically located. Trained a new team member. Liaised with vendors for procurement of instruments. Worked closely with Process and Mechanical teams to contribute to P&IDs and logic narratives. Participated in development of I/O schedule, instrument index, instrument datasheets, location layouts, alarm list, cable schedule and loop drawings. Underwent online and internal training for Bentley’s Instrumentation and Wiring module. Worked on the wiring of an additional marshalling panel and all the necessary design documents that supported the design. Liased with instrument vendors and created over a 100 datasheets. Inspected, corrected and created motor data sheets and control panel schedules. Scheduled the heat tracing aspect of the project.
