Inspection of street milling operations in New York City in preparation for resurfacing as part of a resident engineering and inspection, REI, services agreement with the New York City Department of Design and Construction. Confirming that streets are milled at the proper depth, that milled surfaces are swept and clean and proper transitions between existing roadway surfaces and milled surfaces are in place prior to re-opening to live traffic, that utilities are marked with reflective paint, and that necessary repairs to existing pavements and sidewalk areas are done prior to paving.
Field Engineer August 2010 to June 2013 Afridi Associates – New York, NY NYSTA- Contract (TANY 10-9B/D213881) Rehabilitation of the Tappan Zee Bridge Deck at MP 14.67 in the New York Division, ($218M), Construction Inspection.
