New Jersey Institute of Technology (Dr. N.M Ravindra) September 2012- Present
Thesis titled “Analysis of Transport Properties of a ZAZ Graphene Nanoribbon Junction using Various Dopants”. The thesis discusses the Current-Voltage characteristics and the thermoelectric properties based on various dopant types, concentrations and positions.
Rutgers Department of Physics and Astronomy (Dr. Sang Wook Cheong), August 2011-May 2012
Material Physics Lab
Research was based on condensed matter physics, concentrating on multiferroic, topological insulator and x-ray characterization.
Also, grew and studied Niobium Selenide, Dysprosium Ferroxide and Yttrium Manganese oxide crystals.
• Expertise in the modified Bridgeman and Flux-growth method
• Phase identification and data analysis of hexagonal YMnO3 material, using XRD
• Used the pressure dye to compress the compounds and form a target for sintering.
• Used the elementary process of synthesizing inorganic material with solid state reaction method to for a ploy crystal target of Dysprosium Ferroxide.
Aresty Research Symposium
Poster on the growth of YMnO3 crystal was presented.
