•Manage and collaborate with several associates in the technical lab and production floor relating to glaze making and glaze related processes: batching; color matching; spray preparation
•Develop and monitor quality control adjustments and approvals for production materials
•Work with suppliers to identify and correct issues with equipment and raw materials
•Responsible for coating process and defects relating to the spray systems (Nutro and Sacmi)
•Daily troubleshooting meetings with production supervisors and foreman on current and incoming materials as well as production issues
•Capital project planning and installation of related equipment
•Currently overseeing the installation and start-up of a new mill system and raw material unloading system (Complete)
•Team lead with plant engineering, maintenance and suppliers to ensure that projects are completed on schedule
•Lead defect reduction and process improvement projects that have saved the company over $2,000,000 to date

•Handled casting processes: mold casting; pressure casting
•Travel to off-site locations to refine processes and recruit engineers. Past business destinations include Thailand, China as well as US locations in S. Carolina, N. Carolina, and New Jersey
