• Experienced Project Manager and Lead Engineer on over 200 investigations of both residential and commercial properties. Investigations included, but were not limited to, cause and origin of structural failures, foundation failures, subsidence investigations, and moisture intrusions. Completed projects in a timely fashion and within budget.
• Ordered and supervised various methods of geotechnical testing including hand auger borings, Static Cone Penetrometer Test (SCPT) soundings, Cone Penetrometer Test (CPT) soundings and Standard Penetration Test (SPT) borings.
• Analyzed data produced from field observations and geotechnical testing in order to produce both written and verbal technical reports.
• Designed and oversaw the implementation of soil improvement programs including compaction grouting, slurry grouting and chemical grouting, as well as structural repairs to foundations including pin-piles, helical piles, and adjustable piers.
• Worked closely with clients, contractors, and property owners to facilitate timely completion of remediation programs. Embraced challenges and served as a liaison to resolve any disputes between interested parties.
• Collaborated with other engineers on various tasks, mindful of others opinions while providing constructive input as an attentive team member.
• Provided expert testimony to attorneys with reference to structural and subsidence investigations.
