Position - Engineer in Training
Fresno, CA — October 2011 - October 2013
My first responsibilities were correspondence, writing emails, and filing. Soon after I assisted the engineers with their respective tasks, helping with both the calculations and the drafting. Towards the end of the internship I handled my own projects with minimal supervision. At Structcon I learned and used different types of software such as AutoCAD, RISA 3D, Enercalc, as well as multiple anchorage programs.
Listed below are some of the projects of which my responsibilities included structural design, drafting, shop drawing review, preparing construction documents for plan check, and correspondence.
