Responsible for the process, production, and quality of over 75 items across 5 unique production lines – accountabilities cover a 24/7 need with routine shift work involved (e.g., manufacturing tests, quality issues, production issues)
Project-focused with an emphasis on cost reduction, process improvement, and quality improvement – determine projects by driving statistically analyzed data using, Minitab, Infinity QS, Wonderware, etc.
Responsible for ensuring those projects do not negatively impact any other value stream and or segment of the business by meeting with all involved areas technical contacts
Project Lead for Paint Improvement – Impacted paint down time, paint efficiency/usage, and paint culture by developing a strategic process covering all aspects of paint usage and formulation – project delivered 285% more cost savings than slotted ($220,000 total savings excluding down-time reduction)
Plant Technical Contact for Corporate New Product Development – Analyzed and developed a new process that allowed Armstrong to launch an entirely new product as a company – project predicted to produce 2 – 3 million square feet of product per year (worth $1 million+ in profit/year)
Corporate Liaison for the Special Product Process for Plant – responsibilities include analyzing all parts of process to include materials and labor involved to develop direct cost sheet within 5 hours of all requests – deliver an on-time production by analyzing production schedule and overseeing on-floor production
