- Project Engineer on the process design, implementation, and development of the DustPro system, a chemical-based respirable silica dust suppressant system that flash coated fracking proppants/sands.
- Designed and engineered the DustPro system from conceptual phase into full production using operations results and customer feedback to drive improvements and product quality.
- Sized and selected process equipment not limited to: pumps, piping, valves, air compressors, and instrumentation.
- Up to 80% travel managing three different $500k to $1M project installations at mine sites in Arizona, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. As well as three additional $500k mixer installations at Marcellus Shale region sand terminals.
- Teamed up with plant personnel, customers, and contractors during site evaluations to develop installation game plans and prevent any unscheduled interruptions to production.
- Managed the construction of equipment installations and supervised up to 15 tradesmen driving schedules, setting priorities, pushing through obstacles, and starting up units in a faced paced oil & gas market.
- Managed project budgets, bidding, procurement, invoicing, and performed estimations for new customer projects.
- Performed system startup and shake downs to ensure consistent production of quality product, trained site operators, managers, and maintenance crews on system operations.
- Maintained project and equipment documentation including procedures, customer documentation, PM schedules, spare parts, and drafted drawings, P&IDS, and schematics in AutoCAD.
