Goal and guidelines: Using our knowledge gained through our chemical engineering classes build an apparatus that can demonstrate thermal conductivity reliably to students for educational purposes. The only limitation set upon us is the proposed budget for the project.
CHEM E PRINCIPLES LAB I, II
Introductory lab to apply knowledge learned in courses to designing laboratory experiments commonly encountered by chemical engineers in the field. Training on using equipment such as distillation, reactors, adsorption, absorption, and process control.
ORGANIC CHEMISTRY LAB
Applied the knowledge learned in the classroom of organic chemistry to physical experiments by using the Hardware and chemicals provided.
ENGINEERING DESIGN LAB
Goal and guidelines: Build a robot that can go around a baseball diamond shoot three Ping-Pong balls into three targets in under one minute. Design robot on solid works, build and design circuits, keep track of costs and hours of 4 people in group, set goals to be accomplished on time. Students work on own to solve
the goal, overseen and given advice by instructor. Students from different majors apply knowledge learned to solve the goal.
