Professional Experience
BOEING
Space Exploration Division, Houston Texas, Apr. 2006 – Present
Senior Software Engineer
International Space Station (ISS) Simulation & Tools group
Developed System Architecture, preliminary design, detail design, prototyping and System Software development for NASA’s Space Station MDM (Flight computer) Application Development Environment (MADE) System and Subsystems to support International Space Station flight software development, testing and on orbit anomaly analysis. This effort resulted in elimination of substantial amount of Hardware needed for development and testing of Flight software and cost savings in millions to the ISS project and NASA.
Participated in design and develop of International Space Station Simulation in a box (ISSSim) to enable Visiting Vehicle spacecrafts like SPACEx Dragon, and Orbital Science Cygnus integration with International Space Station.
Designed and developed MIL-STD 1553B bus interface software for ISS MDM Development Environment (MADE) System to provide hardware interface testing to ISS Orbital Replicable Units (ORUS).
Helped develop VMware Virtual machine based ISS Astronaut’s Personal Computer System (PCS) to facilitate testing and development of the Flight software interfaces to the International Space Station.
Helped implement, develop and maintain Web based Unified Metric System (UMS) to keep track of ISS Flight Software trouble reporting, software change requests and generating project wide matrices for management reviews.
Collaborated and provided user support across Flight software and simulation development teams to coordinate changes and implementation of new requirements to support ISS software and FQT testing.
