pressure, etc. in order to maintain/improve hydraulic fluid performance, hole cleaning,
cuttings removal, and more. Work with Water-base and Oil-base fluid systems. Received an
MVP award for assisting in the introductions of a new Oil-base fluid system. Work in lab
and mud plant performing tests and formulating chemical concentrations for fresh mud.
Provide technical support on end-of-well documentation as well as pre-well planning.

PROCESS ENGINEER
Improved the efficiency of the thermal oxidizers by running plant trials varying the
temperature and O2% to determine the optimum settings at various product rates, then
helped develop a DCS program to monitor and correct the settings to obtain better
efficiency as well as freeing the operator to focus on other equipment. Took over a project
in the capital procurement stage and gathered data and material in order to get funding
approved. Worked closely with another engineer to improve the SVG system's flammability
detection and improve the material balance as well as update the SVG P&IDs with the
actual field configurations. Other projects included closing out HAZOP action items, creating
specs for a new tank to replace an old one, and doing the preparation work for a HAZOP.
